Engineering Manager, Reliability Engineering

Airbnb is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Manager, Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join their team. This key role will drive the development of a long-term Reliability strategy and ensure the overall performance and reliability of Airbnb's infrastructure and products. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of management experience, extensive background in Reliability Engineering, and strong software engineering skills.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing a roadmap for Reliability and serving as a strategic thought partner
• Designing and implementing company-wide SRE architecture and standards
• Creating scalable incident management processes
• Fostering an SRE/Reliability model within the engineering culture
• Developing Production Readiness standards and implementing reliable design patterns
• Building partnerships with engineering leaders and mentoring other Site Reliability Engineers

The role offers a competitive base salary range of $204,000 to $259,000, with potential for bonuses, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits. This position is US - Remote Eligible, with occasional work at Airbnb offices or offsites as needed.
