Frontend Web Software Engineer, Users, Listings & Platform

As a Frontend Engineer on the User Clients team at Airbnb, you'll be responsible for building and shaping the future of Airbnb's Users related product flows, such as user profile, information, and settings across the app and providing Airbnb's Users with a secure, reliable, and delightful authentication experience. The team is highly collaborative with its partners in design, product, data science, legal, and marketing to deliver features and experiences used by millions of people.

The Reputation Clients team is dedicated to building exceptional customer-facing products that enhance trip quality, user reputation, and listing performance. Our goal is to build delightful user products that foster trust, connections, and a sense of belonging. The team works on Reviews, Superhost program, Standards, and Insights.

As a frontend web engineer on the Reputation Clients team, you'll be responsible for building Airbnb's quality, reviews, performance insights and reputation products. We aim to build a company-wide quality platform and hospitality system that helps Airbnb and hosts deliver magical stays.

Your Expertise:

• 2+ years of experience in frontend web development
• Experience with modern JavaScript/Typescript libraries and tooling (e.g. React, graphql)
• Fluency in HTML, CSS, and related web technologies
• Strong product sense and a passion for UX product development
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with Product Management, Design, and other iOS, Android, and Web Engineers
• [Bonus] Experience with animation libraries
• [Bonus] Interest in working with data and performance insights

This position is US - Remote Eligible, with occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager. You must live in a state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity.
