Airbnb, founded in 2007, has revolutionized the travel industry by connecting millions of hosts with guests worldwide. As an Integration Engineer on the API Integrations team, you'll play a crucial role in supporting Airbnb's software partner ecosystem.

The position involves being the primary technical contact for software partners globally, ensuring smooth integration with Airbnb's API. You'll be responsible for troubleshooting issues, providing technical consultancy, and maintaining strong relationships with partners. The role requires a blend of technical expertise and communication skills.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include triaging and resolving partner issues, working with various monitoring tools, participating in on-call rotations, and liaising between partners and internal teams. You'll also contribute to documentation and influence product decisions based on partner feedback.

The ideal candidate should have 3+ years of experience in technical support, strong knowledge of REST APIs, programming concepts, and SQL. You'll work with tools like Postman, Kibana, and Grafana, and programming languages including Java and JavaScript.

This is a remote position within the United States, offering a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $107,500 USD. You'll be part of a team that's essential to Airbnb's growth and success in connecting with third-party software partners. Responsibilities For Integration Engineer

  • Triage, prioritize, troubleshoot and/or escalate major issues reported by software partners
  • Use various tools and logs to address software partners' needs
  • Provide emergency support during regular on-call rotations
  • Liaise between software partners and Airbnb's internal teams
  • Test, document, and share updates about new API features
  • Advocate for software partners by influencing product roadmap decisions
  • Foster strong connections with software partners
  • Create and update user-facing documentation

Requirements For Integration Engineer

Java

  • 3+ years of experience in customer-facing technical support role
  • Experience working with REST APIs and related tools
  • Understanding of coding concepts and programming languages
  • Understanding and writing complex SQL queries
  • Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
