iOS Engineer, Prototyping

The Engineering Prototyping team collaborates closely with Design, Product, and Engineering partners across Airbnb. Your work will range from focused technical explorations to broad feature validation, directly influencing major product decisions. As an iOS prototyper, you'll be responsible for building demonstrations that answer crucial questions about technical feasibility, user experience, and strategic value.

The role demands expertise in Swift and SwiftUI, with a strong background in creating custom interactions and complex animations. You'll work in a small but capable team that handles prototyping across iOS, Android, and web platforms. Your prototypes will help leadership make critical business decisions by demonstrating technical possibilities and enabling user studies.

This position offers competitive compensation ($204,000 - $260,000) plus equity and travel benefits. While primarily remote-based in the US, you'll have opportunities for occasional office work and offsites.
