The role focuses on building new tools for the co-hosting initiative, making it easier for hosts to connect with co-hosts on the platform. As part of this team, you'll collaborate with engineering teams in San Francisco to scale this project globally, working on innovative and technically challenging problems in areas such as UX, scale, performance, robustness, and quality.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of backend development experience, strong expertise in Java/Kotlin, and a proven track record of working with large-scale service-oriented architectures. You'll be responsible for architecting and implementing complex features, leading technical requirements, and mentoring junior engineers while fostering a culture of knowledge sharing.
