The Trust team at Airbnb is crucial in protecting the community and platform from fraud while ensuring high standards for hosts, guests, homes, and experiences. As a Senior Staff Machine Learning Engineer in the Trust team, you'll be responsible for the technology vision and development of a complex stack that runs on every key interaction on the platform.

Your role will involve:

• Working with large-scale structured and unstructured data
• Building and improving cutting-edge Machine Learning models for Airbnb's product, business, and operational use cases
• Collaborating with cross-functional partners to identify opportunities for business impact
• Tackling the changing landscape of fraud attacks
• Developing, productionizing, and operating Machine Learning models and pipelines at scale

You'll be joining a team that obsesses over trust and safety, working on complex topics like identity and reputation to build trust in Airbnb and its community. This senior technical role requires hands-on coding and close partnership with senior leaders across the broader technical organization.

Key responsibilities include:

• Anomaly detection models
• ML models for continuous risk evaluation
• Collaborating with software engineers, product managers, operations, and data scientists
• Driving engineering decisions and quantifying impact
