Senior Staff Software Engineer, Network Infrastructure

Airbnb, a pioneering platform in the travel and hospitality space, is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer to join their Network Infrastructure team. This role sits within the Cloud Infrastructure organization, specifically in the Network/Edge Experience team, where you'll be at the forefront of developing and maintaining critical infrastructure components that power Airbnb's global connectivity.

The position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge cloud native network technologies, focusing on layers 4-7 of the network stack. You'll be instrumental in shaping major infrastructure initiatives including global traffic load balancing, disaster recovery, next-generation service mesh, and edge security solutions. As a member of the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) end user community, Airbnb actively collaborates with open source communities and industry peers.
