Senior Staff Technical Program Manager, Data Storage

Airbnb is seeking a Senior Staff Technical Program Manager for the Infrastructure team to focus on Data Storage. This role will partner with Data engineering & product teams to enhance data-driven decision-making across Airbnb. The ideal candidate will have at least 13 years of work experience, with 11+ years as a TPM or in relevant roles. They should have expertise in scalable, reliable storage big data systems, and experience with near real-time data transport and distributed storage systems.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting teams to deliver high-quality work across multiple tracks
• Influencing technical direction to meet data stakeholders' needs
• Enabling cross-functional collaboration on high-priority company projects
• Showcasing team work to senior leaders and communicating trade-offs, risks, and opportunities
• Leading programs involving big data systems and working with customers on leveraging infrastructure

The role requires strong communication skills, ability to work through ambiguity, and experience in highly cross-functional environments. The position is US - Remote Eligible, with occasional work at Airbnb offices or offsites as agreed with the manager.
