Staff Software Engineer, Cloud Infrastructure

The position offers an opportunity to work on fundamental infrastructure components that all other Airbnb teams build upon, including compute platforms, cloud services, service mesh, and cloud provisioning and networking stack. With a global user base, the role demands a focus on reliability, scalability, efficiency, and high availability.

The ideal candidate will have 9+ years of experience and deep expertise in cloud technologies, particularly with major cloud providers like AWS, GCP, or Azure. They should be comfortable with container orchestration technologies and have a proven track record of leading large-scale technical projects. The role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
