Staff Web Engineer, Reservation Management

Airbnb is seeking a Staff Web Engineer for their Reservation Management team. This role involves driving critical booking and post-booking flows in the Guest and Host Product, including Reservation Details, Order management, and Alterations. The ideal candidate will champion web development practices, collaborate with Design partners, and lead end-to-end development of key products.

Responsibilities include:

• Exploring and developing new product experiences
• Designing scalable web practices
• Mentoring engineers and upleveling team culture
• Leading technical investments for product innovation
• Developing prototypes and translating them into production code
• Writing tests and reviewing code

The role requires 10+ years of industry experience, strong expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript, and experience with modern JavaScript frameworks. The candidate should have a passion for end-to-end product delivery, understanding of frontend architecture, and the ability to mentor junior engineers.

The base pay range for this role is $204,000 - $259,000 USD, with potential eligibility for bonuses, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
