Description For Mobile Engineer (iOS & Android)

Airwallex, valued at US$5.6 billion, is seeking a Mobile Engineer to join their dynamic team in Singapore. As a unified payments and financial platform, we serve over 100,000 businesses worldwide, including prominent names like Brex, Rippling, and SHEIN.

The Mobile Team is responsible for both iOS and Android apps, utilizing cutting-edge technologies such as SwiftUI, Combine, Async/Await for iOS, and AndroidX, Coroutines, Hilt, and various Jetpack libraries for Android. The role offers an exciting opportunity to work on modern, native mobile applications that enable customers to manage B2B global payments, handle expenses, and manage virtual and physical cards with features including Google/Apple Pay wallet integration.

As an experienced Mobile Engineer, you'll be instrumental in shaping the future of our mobile applications, which are less than two years old. You'll have direct impact on scaling these apps while working with a collaborative team that values best practices and innovation. The position offers the unique opportunity to contribute to a rapidly growing fintech company with a global presence across 20+ offices.

The ideal candidate should have 3+ years of mobile development experience, strong knowledge of either iOS or Android platforms, and a track record of deploying apps to major app stores. We value engineers who can write testable code, maintain CI/CD pipelines, and contribute beyond core engineering duties to the company's overall growth.

Requirements For Mobile Engineer (iOS & Android)

Kotlin
  • 3+ years experience developing native mobile apps
  • Experience with Android or iOS development and modern frameworks
  • Bachelor degree in computer science or engineering related majors
  • Has deployed one or more apps to Google or Apple stores
  • Ability to write testable code with high test coverage
  • Experience with automation pipelines for CI/CD (GitHub Actions/Bitrise)
  • Experience with modern tools like AndroidX
