In 2024, the Data Platform Engineering team is embarking on an exciting journey to implement various data processing tasks on their next-generation data platform. The role focuses on optimizing data storage, processing, applications, and interfaces while incorporating new data components and architectures like Lake House.

As a Senior Data Platform Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of technical decision-making, developing large-scale distributed data processing systems, and establishing scalable infrastructure. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies including Kafka, Spark, and Snowflake, while having the opportunity to mentor junior engineers and shape the company's data engineering standards.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of data engineering experience, strong technical expertise in languages like Kotlin, Java, Scala, or Python, and experience with big data technologies.
