Senior DevSecOps Engineer

Airwallex is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join their Information Security team. As a trusted member of the team, you'll work closely with Infrastructure and Software Engineering teams to protect the organization from cybersecurity threats. The role involves championing security within the development process, designing automated pipelines for secure software delivery, and fostering a DevSecOps culture.

The Information Security team at Airwallex is focused on improving product security as the company scales globally. Working with a valuation of US$5.6 billion and backed by world-class investors like Sequoia and Mastercard, you'll be part of a team of 1,500+ innovative professionals across 20+ global offices.

Your responsibilities will include integrating security practices throughout the infrastructure and software development lifecycle, implementing automated processes for building and deploying secure applications, and monitoring systems for vulnerabilities. You'll work on implementing security tools in CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure, and participating in incident response.

The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of experience, strong security principles understanding, and proficiency in scripting languages and cloud platforms. You'll need excellent communication skills and a passion for security best practices. Experience with containerization, IaC principles, and security certifications (CISSP, CEH) are preferred.
