(Senior) Frontend Engineer, Growth & Ecosystem

Airwallex is seeking a (Senior) Frontend Engineer for their Growth & Ecosystem team in Singapore. The role involves working on cutting-edge technologies to simplify business operations and enable novel use cases for enterprises through integrations with adjacent software. Key responsibilities include coding with React and TypeScript, building micro FE web applications, leveraging Apollo GraphQL, collaborating with the design team, delivering NPM packages, and adopting best practices in testing and deployment. The ideal candidate should have 3+ years of front-end development experience, proficiency in various web technologies, and experience with large-scale financial web systems. Key Responsibilities:

1. Coding with React and TypeScript to build high-quality products
2. Building micro FE web applications with domain-based design architecture
3. Leveraging Apollo GraphQL as the backend for frontend (BFF)
4. Collaborating with the design team to build a design system and common components
5. Delivering NPM packages and library widgets for easy client integration
6. Deploying micro FE and node.js services using GCP, Aliyun K8S, and GitLab CICD
7. Implementing comprehensive testing strategies
8. Building nocode/serverless CMS systems using contentful and next.js
9. Engaging with the frontend guild and driving initiatives to improve product quality

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of front-end development experience
• 2+ years of front-end architecture experience
• Experience in developing large-scale financial web systems
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field
• Fluent in English
• Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, ECMAScript 6+, TypeScript, React, Vue, Angular
• Familiar with Material UI, Ant Design, Bootstrap 3
• Knowledge of HTTP(S) protocol and RESTful specifications
• Experience with Webpack, Polyfill, Rollup.js
• Familiarity with building BFF using node.js

Preferred Qualifications:

• Front-end framework development experience
• Overseas study and work experience
• Experience with GraphQL, NextJS, Redis, RDBMS
• Knowledge of tracking and data analytics (GA, GTM)
• DevOps-related experience (BDD, TDD, CI/CD, Docker, K8S, Nginx)
• Java, Kotlin, Shell development experience
