Senior Frontend Engineer, Lending

Airwallex is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join their Lending team in Singapore. This high-impact role involves leading the design, implementation, and delivery of lending products, with an initial focus on launching and scaling up credit card products in new markets. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, own technical strategy for micro frontend and GraphQL APIs, and architect efficient front-end systems for complex web applications.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading product development for the lending suite, focusing on credit cards
• Collaborating with Product Designers & Product Managers
• Owning technical strategy for micro frontend and GraphQL APIs
• Architecting reusable front-end systems for complex web applications
• Implementing responsive design for cross-device compatibility

The role requires:

• 4+ years of experience in modern engineering practices
• Strong understanding of modern frontend architecture, React, and TypeScript/JavaScript
• Experience with REST or GraphQL APIs
• Commitment to high-quality, well-tested solutions
• Familiarity with operational tools like Splunk, Grafana, and Prometheus
