Senior Fullstack Engineer, Lending

Airwallex, a unified payments and financial platform for global businesses, is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer for their Lending team. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead the design and implementation of a new lending platform, powering Airwallex's lending capabilities and unlocking global revenue generation opportunities.

The position involves working on the full software development lifecycle, from requirements capture to operational support. Key responsibilities include:

1. Designing and implementing innovative features to revolutionize product user experience
2. Collaborating with engineers for architectural reviews
3. Developing micro frontends and GraphQL APIs
4. Championing technical debt reduction and operational effectiveness
5. Utilizing React Testing Library and Cypress for testing

The ideal candidate should have:

• 6+ years of experience in modern engineering practices
• Strong understanding of micro frontend architecture
• Proficiency in React, TypeScript, and JavaScript
• Commitment to producing high-quality, well-tested solutions
• Experience in designing and implementing GraphQL APIs
• Strong computer science fundamentals
• Familiarity with operational tooling (Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus)
• Experience with version control tools like Git
• Experience in building scalable and robust systems
• Solid understanding of OOP concepts

Preferred qualifications include experience with Java and Kotlin, and prior experience in the lending or financial technology industry.
