Senior Machine Learning Engineer - Risk

Airwallex, a unified payments and financial platform for global businesses, is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer for their Risk Platform team. This role, based in Singapore, involves working on sophisticated ML problems in risk management, including fraud detection.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Analyzing business requirements and translating them into ML problems
2. Performing feature engineering and model training
3. Collaborating with different teams to apply models to business problems
4. Staying up-to-date with cutting-edge ML technologies
5. Coaching junior ML engineers

The ideal candidate should have:

• Experience in risk domain modeling, preferably in fraud detection
• Proficiency in Python and/or JVM languages (Java, Scala, Kotlin)
• Experience with ML libraries like scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras
• Familiarity with big data frameworks such as Flink or Spark
• SQL knowledge
