Senior Software Engineer, Infra & Productivity Team, AI & Data Infra

Airwallex, a fintech unicorn valued at US$5.6 billion, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Infrastructure & Productivity team, focusing on Data & AI Infrastructure. Founded in 2015 and now at Series E, Airwallex serves over 100,000 businesses globally with unified payment solutions.

As part of the Infrastructure team, you'll be at the forefront of developing next-generation solutions supporting strategic AI initiatives. The role involves managing and optimizing critical systems including Kafka, Flink, Spark, Tableau, and Databricks. You'll be working within a sophisticated infrastructure organization comprising seven specialized domain teams: Tier-X Cloud Infrastructure, Tier-0 Cloud Infrastructure, Productivity, Observability, Data Infrastructure, Database, and Networking.

The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of engineering experience and strong expertise in data infrastructure technologies. You'll be responsible for designing scalable solutions, maintaining development platforms, and ensuring system reliability while collaborating with data scientists and cross-functional teams.
