Senior Software Engineer, Mobile

Airwallex, a global fintech valued at US$5.6 billion, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for their Mobile team. This role involves building high-quality, intuitive, and user-friendly mobile apps for both iOS and Android platforms. The successful candidate will contribute to the design and development of features for Airwallex's native apps, which allow customers to manage business-to-business global payments, submit and approve expenses, and manage virtual and physical cards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing the look and feel of mobile apps
• Collaborating with engineering colleagues to determine the best ways to build features
• Ensuring apps are secure, reliable, tested, and always available for customers
• Contributing to the growth of Airwallex beyond core engineering duties

The ideal candidate will have:

• 5+ years of experience developing native mobile apps
• Experience with cross-platform projects
• A degree in Computer Science or a similar engineering field
• Experience building and deploying apps to Google or Apple stores
• Proficiency with modern tools like SwiftUI or AndroidX
• Ability to write testable code with high test coverage
• Experience maintaining automation pipelines for CI/CD (e.g., GitHub Actions/Bitrise)
