Senior Software Engineer, Ops Efficiency

Airwallex, valued at US$5.6 billion, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Risk Platform team. This role is crucial in safeguarding various products including GTPN, PA, Issuing, Onboarding, and Account Takeover, while managing KYC and KYB processes for customer onboarding.

The position is based in Singapore, where you'll be part of a global team spread across Beijing, Shanghai, and Singapore. You'll work on developing and maintaining sophisticated risk management systems using cutting-edge technologies like graph analysis, Machine Learning, and Language Learning Models.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for developing payment products and transaction systems using Java 8/Kotlin, designing microservice components, and working directly with product managers to implement solutions. The role requires strong expertise in Core Java development, distributed systems, and microservice architecture.

The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of Core Java experience and 3+ years in financial system development. Knowledge of modern technologies including Spring Boot, Kubernetes, and various database systems is essential. Experience with international clearing, settlement, and foreign exchange transactions is a plus.
