Senior Software Engineer, Ops Efficiency

Airwallex, valued at US$5.6 billion, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their risk platform team in Singapore. As a unified payments and financial platform serving over 100,000 global businesses, we're at the forefront of building the future of global payments and financial services.

The role is within our risk platform team, which is crucial in safeguarding various products including GTPN, PA, Issuing, Onboarding, and Account Takeover. You'll be working on essential KYC and KYB processes for customer onboarding, collaborating with a global team across Beijing, Shanghai, and Singapore.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll be developing payment products and transaction systems using Java 8/Kotlin, designing microservice components, and working directly with product managers to understand requirements. You'll also have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies including graph technology, Machine Learning, and Language Learning Models.

The ideal candidate brings over 5 years of Core Java development experience and strong expertise in distributed systems, microservices, and various server technologies. You'll be part of a team of 1,500+ innovative professionals across 20+ global offices, backed by world-leading investors including Sequoia and Salesforce Ventures.
