Description For Junior Support QA Engineer (L2)

The QA Department is seeking a Junior Support QA Engineer to join our team working on video streaming integration into the Ajax ecosystem.

As an L2 Support QA Engineer, you'll be integral to maintaining our product quality and user satisfaction. You'll handle complex technical inquiries, analyze incidents, and work closely with our development teams. The role requires strong analytical skills, technical knowledge, and excellent communication abilities.

Responsibilities For Junior Support QA Engineer (L2)

  • Process incoming requests from partners, clients (through L1 Support Team) and company technical team
  • Handle incidents, analyze them, prioritize, track statuses, and escalate timely
  • Analyze root causes of detected errors, provide information for understanding and resolving problems
  • Create knowledge base for typical solutions to common problems and maintain documentation
  • Collaborate with team members (developers, BA, QA from other teams) to achieve best results
  • Develop deep understanding of our products

Requirements For Junior Support QA Engineer (L2)

Linux
  • People skills
  • Critical thinking
  • Knowledge of testing theory
  • Experience with databases
  • 1+ years of support experience (L1/L2)
  • Knowledge of UNIX/Linux OS
  • Experience with Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, Dashboards, Reports)
  • Time management and task prioritization skills
  • Understanding of API basics, data formats (JSON, XML), HTTP protocol
  • Experience with command line
