Responsibilities For Frontend Engineer

  • Write clean, easy-to-read, and maintainable code that adheres to best practices
  • Develop creative solutions to technical problems and user needs
  • Balance trade-offs between perfection and meeting delivery deadlines
  • Work collaboratively within an Agile product team
  • Provide support and guidance to other Engineers
  • Collaborate with Designers, Product Leads, and other disciplines
  • Partner with multiple clients to deliver high-quality solutions

Requirements For Frontend Engineer

  • Experience building for the web using frontend technologies: semantic HTML, CSS and SASS, and JavaScript
  • Experience using modern development tools (Git, GitLab or GitHub)
  • Excellent teamwork, and written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue.js etc.) preferred
  • Knowledge of CSS preprocessors (SASS, PostCSS, etc.) preferred
  • Experience building for performance and accessibility preferred
  • Knowledge of testing, QA tools and methodologies preferred
