We're seeking a Fullstack Software Engineer to join our Engineering team in Montreal, focusing on expanding our modeling platform to deliver a live-rating solution.
The role combines both technical excellence and client interaction, requiring expertise in both front-end and back-end development. You'll work with our tech stack including Python 3.11+/FastAPI/SQLAlchemy, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Angular 19+, and AWS infrastructure. The position offers exciting technical challenges including computation optimization, cross-region replication, and modern UX/UI development.

Responsibilities For Fullstack Software Engineer - Akur8 Deploy
- Participate in architecture and development of new features
- Handle complex business logic on both front-end and back-end
- Process considerable volumes of data
- Collaborate with customers to understand needs and challenges
- Support customers in integrating Akur8's solution into their IT systems
- Contribute to internal workshops
- Participate in recruitment of new Engineering talents
Requirements For Fullstack Software Engineer - Akur8 Deploy
- Master Degree in Computer Science from a top engineering school
- 2+ years of experience as a software engineer
- Deep knowledge on Python backend or Angular/Typescript and Redux frameworks
- Experience with large volumes of data and optimizing architecture
- Understanding of client priorities & balance between delivery and code robustness
- Ability to collaborate with clients and support solution integration
- Strong communication skills and interest in client-facing interactions
- Knowledge of software development best practices
- Fluent level of spoken English
