Senior Frontend Software Engineer

Akur8 is a fast-growing Insurtech company transforming insurance pricing and reserving with transparent Machine Learning since 2016. We're seeking a Senior Frontend Software Engineer to join our newly formed engineering team focused on building a new cloud-native product from the ground up.

As a Senior Frontend Software Engineer, you'll:

• Be a technical reference for front-end subjects
• Work with Product & Design teams on our vision and roadmap
• Maintain and evolve front-end development best practices
• Design and build complex systems with a focus on performance, scalability, and user experience
• Implement testing as part of the development process
• Collaborate with backend engineers on machine learning pipelines

Requirements:

• 5+ years experience as a Front-end Engineer or Senior Full-Stack Developer
• Expertise in Angular 2+, RxJS, and TypeScript
• Strong design and CSS skills
• Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and databases
• Experience with Microsoft development tools and Azure
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Aptitude for mathematics and statistical calculations
• Fluent in English
