Alamar Biosciences is revolutionizing the field of proteomics with their mission to enable early detection of cancer and other diseases. They are developing the world's most sensitive proteomics platform through their automated ARGO system. As a Field Service Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in supporting this groundbreaking technology.

The position offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team in their Customer Support organization, where you'll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and upgrading the ARGO platform at customer facilities. Based in Orlando, FL, this field-based role involves extensive interaction with customers throughout the eastern and southeastern United States.

Your responsibilities will include providing exceptional remote and on-site customer support, building strong customer relationships, and collaborating with Engineering and R&D teams. You'll also contribute to product improvement through customer feedback and help develop scalable support processes.

The ideal candidate brings 2-3 years of biotech industry experience, strong technical skills in diagnosing various systems, and excellent communication abilities. This role offers significant growth potential as an early hire, with the opportunity to shape the field service team's development.

The position comes with a competitive salary range of $115,000 - $140,000, plus equity benefits. Responsibilities For Field Service Engineer

  • Instrument installation, planned maintenance, corrective maintenance, and upgrades for ARGO platform
  • Provide remote and on-site customer support throughout east, south east US
  • Initiate and cultivate positive relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Address customer requests and document in CRM system
  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide solutions to customer issues
  • Provide Voice of Customer insights for product improvements
  • Create and refine scalable customer support processes
  • Create/review technical work instructions, manuals, and bulletins

Requirements For Field Service Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field
  • 2-3 years of field-based experience in bio-tech industry
  • Exceptional communication skills across all organizational levels
  • Problem-solving abilities
  • Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Technical skills in diagnosing electrical, electromechanical and fluidic sub systems
  • Process improvement orientation
  • Willingness to travel throughout Central, South East, Eastern US
  • Positive can-do attitude
  • Adaptable self-motivated person with attention to detail
