Security Software Engineer

Alan is seeking a Security Software Engineer to join their team. The role involves developing and maintaining secure systems, focusing on critical areas such as secure file transfer, global user authentication, and security improvements to email communication. The Security Engineering team at Alan is dedicated to incident detection and response, enhancing capabilities to detect security incidents early and respond effectively. They also focus on vulnerability management, proactively managing vulnerabilities in software and infrastructure.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with SAST, DAST, and Penetration Testing techniques to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities in web and mobile applications. Experience with SIEM platforms for monitoring, detecting, and responding to security incidents is valuable. The role requires a passion for building secure products and systems, willingness to work in Python and/or JavaScript, and a strong understanding of coding best practices and secure coding standards.
