Responsibilities For Quality Engineer
- Understanding product functionality and system architecture
- Writing test plans and updating test documentation
- Manually testing features/products and tracking defects
- Writing high quality bug tickets
- Analyzing logs and data to identify root causes
- Setting up and maintaining test environments and equipment
- Triaging urgent issues and proposing resolutions
- Configuring and monitoring automation setups
- Assessing risk and determining test strategy
- Interacting with stakeholders and engineering teams
Requirements For Quality Engineer
- 0-2 years of QA experience in an agile environment
- B.A. or B.S. in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar
- Ability to work across hardware, software, and network technologies
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to interpret complex technical information
- Process-oriented with attention to details
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently
- Team focused with proven collaborative experience
