Senior Cloud Security Engineer

Alarm.com is seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to identify security risks in the corporate network, communicate those risks to management, and assist with mitigation efforts. This role will work with technologies including vulnerability scanning, intrusion detection, SIEM, database monitoring, and file integrity monitoring. The ideal candidate will have the ability to document policies and procedures and keep them updated according to industry compliance requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

• Determine, monitor, and maintain security posture in collaboration with Engineering
• Perform security audits and penetration tests
• Select and acquire additional security solutions
• Oversee deployment and configuration of security solutions
• Develop and maintain threat models for cloud environments
• Provide expertise on SDLC practices including secure design, development, and testing
• Partner with stakeholders to minimize security and privacy risks
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of IT security industry trends
• Maintain Incident Response Program
• Craft responses to client and partner security questionnaires
