Senior Security (AppSec) Engineer II

Aledade, the largest network of independent primary care in the United States, is seeking a Senior Security (AppSec) Engineer II to join their remote team. This role is crucial in designing, implementing, and maintaining security services that support the business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in application security, cloud environments, and healthcare technology.

As a Senior Security Engineer II, you'll be responsible for working cross-functionally to improve and automate security capabilities, leveraging data to enhance the company's security posture, and leading incident response efforts. You'll also contribute to security documentation and mentor junior team members.

Key qualifications include:

• 6+ years of experience in securing and deploying applications in Cloud Native environments
• 3+ years in a dedicated application security role
• Extensive experience with SAST/DAST methodologies, code reviews, and threat modeling
• Proficiency in languages like Python, JavaScript, and familiarity with server-side web technologies
• Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP environments and implementing security controls for web-based SaaS applications
