Senior Software Engineer II

As a Senior Software Engineer II at Aledade, you will be responsible for maintaining, improving, and expanding our web application and data pipelines. We're seeking engineers who understand that writing new code isn't always the solution, but when technological changes are needed, they create secure, maintainable, performant, correct, scalable, and stable solutions to complex healthcare industry challenges.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Developing and implementing scalable and performant solutions.
2. Partnering with Engineering Managers, Product Managers, and stakeholders to develop and execute technical roadmaps using Agile processes.
3. Mentoring and coaching junior engineers, including thorough pull request reviews.

Qualifications:

• BS/BTech (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience building full-stack web applications as part of a cross-functional team.
• 3+ years of experience with SQL or other database querying languages on large multi-table data sets.
• 3+ years of experience as a trusted technical decision-maker, solving for short-term and long-term business value.
• 3+ years of experience coaching other engineers.

Preferred skills:

• Experience in designing, building, and optimizing data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Proficiency with large datasets and data storage technologies.
• Experience with data ingestion systems and large-scale data processing.
• In-depth knowledge of database systems, including replication and sharding.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and security for sensitive data systems.
