Description For Senior Backend Engineer, Platform

Aleph is revolutionizing Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) with a unique approach to centralizing financial data. Founded by Albert Gozzi and Santiago Perez De Rosso, both technical founders from Stanford and MIT, the company has gained backing from prestigious VCs including Bain Capital Ventures, Khosla Ventures, and YC.

The platform serves as the central hub for companies' financial data, integrating expenses from Quickbooks/Netsuite and pipeline forecasts from Salesforce into finance teams' existing tools. Their vision extends to becoming the definitive source of truth for business data and decision-making platform.

As a Senior Backend Engineer on the Platform/Infrastructure team, you'll be instrumental in developing the core platform, focusing on data movement and transformation, both internally and through 3rd party integrations. You'll work on improving system performance and extending functionality with new integrations and features.

The role offers the opportunity to work with a growing team that's achieving remarkable success, demonstrated by minimal churn and rapid growth. You'll collaborate directly with leadership, own complex features, deliver scalable code, and help establish best practices for the technology team.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of Python backend engineering experience, strong infrastructure management skills, and expertise in data handling and third-party APIs. You should be comfortable working remotely, taking ownership of projects, and have a product-driven mindset with strong customer empathy.

Join a company that's redefining an established multi-billion market, working with prestigious customers like Turo, Notion, and Zapier. This remote position is specifically for LATAM-based candidates, allowing you to be part of a diverse team spread across the Americas while maintaining optimal collaboration through aligned working hours.
