Allegiant Air is seeking a Manager of Powerplants to oversee their Powerplant Maintenance Program. This key leadership role involves managing both the Powerplant Engineer and Powerplant Planner positions. Responsibilities For Manager - Powerplant Engineer

  • Manage the Safran CFM56 engine operation
  • Manage the Honeywell 131-9A APU operation
  • Develop Engineering Actions for Airworthiness Directives and Technical Service Requests
  • Prepare vendor repair/overhaul instructions
  • Supervise engine planning for critical Powerplant maintenance events
  • Model Allegiant's customer service standards
  • Interface with multiple engine repair facilities and track engine repair progress

Requirements For Manager - Powerplant Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience
  • Airframe & Powerplant Certification
  • Minimum 5 years experience in 121 or 135 airline environment or 145 Powerplant MRO
  • Knowledge of Safran CFM56 Engine Life Cycle
  • Knowledge of Honeywell 131-9A APU Life Cycle
  • Must be authorized to work in the US
  • Must pass Criminal Background Check
