Responsibilities For Structures Repair Engineer

  • Ensures structural repairs/modifications are properly classified and documented
  • Creates Engineering Repair Orders to capture repairs
  • Creates Substantiation Reports to justify modifications and repairs
  • Obtains OEM or DER approvals for repairs
  • Travels to MRO's to train personnel
  • Communicates with OEM to obtain repair approvals
  • Ensures repairs align with Allegiant standards
  • Reviews structural reliability issues

Requirements For Structures Repair Engineer

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • Minimum 5 years experience in Airline Engineering, MRO engineering or OEM MRB environment
  • Experience with Airbus and/or Boeing Drawing system, SRM, CMM, CML, PMS
  • Experience performing general stress analysis
  • Experience in contacting OEM for support
  • Experience in preparation of engineering modification and repair documentations
  • Must be authorized to work in the US
  • Must pass a Criminal Background Check
