Description For Systems Engineer (Expert)

Allen Integrated Solutions is seeking an Expert-level Systems Engineer to join their team in Springfield, Virginia. This role requires a TS/SCI clearance and involves leading engineering teams in a multi-discipline approach to requirements engineering, solutions engineering, and various aspects of geospatial intelligence systems.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or higher in Systems Engineering or related technical fields, with expert-level experience in DoD/IC Acquisition Process, Requirements Process, and systems engineering of large complex systems. They should have a strong understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle and experience leading integration efforts across multiple segments/systems.

Key responsibilities include assisting the Government in directing requirements engineering, solutions engineering, and various aspects of system development and integration. The role involves working with the National System of Geospatial-intelligence (NSG), Allied System of Geospatial-intelligence (ASG), and Federal Agencies to ensure timely and accurate GEOINT.

Responsibilities For Systems Engineer (Expert)

  • Assist in leading engineering teams
  • Direct requirements engineering, solutions engineering, scheduling, reliability, resiliency, services development, integration, test and evaluation
  • Advise on proposed changes to solutions designs
  • Perform systems integration activities
  • Lead Analysis of Alternatives (AoAs), Course of Actions (CoAs), Trade Studies, and Engineering Assessments
  • Oversee and coordinate work of Senior-, Mid-, and Junior-level contractor Systems Engineers

Requirements For Systems Engineer (Expert)

Linux
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Systems Engineering or related technical fields
  • Expert-level experience in DoD/IC Acquisition Process, Requirements Process, PPBES Process or systems engineering
  • Experience with systems engineering lifecycle
  • TS/SCI Clearance
