Allen Integrated Solutions is seeking a Mid-level Systems Engineer to work on projects related to the National System of Geospatial-intelligence (NSG), Allied System of Geospatial-intelligence (ASG), and Federal Agencies. The role involves employing a multi-discipline approach to requirements engineering, solutions engineering, scheduling, reliability, resiliency, services development, integration, test and evaluation, maintainability, and analysis to ensure timely and accurate GEOINT.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting requirements engineering and solutions engineering across NSG, ASG, and Federal Agencies
- Planning and analyzing user requirements, architectures traceability, and cloud service capabilities
- Developing solutions designs based on requirements and new technology
- Mentoring Junior Engineers in developing relevant skill sets
- Assisting the Government in capturing and translating mission requirements into systems/capability requirements
- Supporting systems integration activities and performing analyses such as AoAs, CoAs, and Trade Studies
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Systems Engineering or related STEM field
- Mid-level experience as a Systems Engineer
- Experience in DoD/IC Acquisition Process, Requirements Process, or PPBES Process
- Experience in system engineering of large complex System of Systems or Service Oriented Architecture/Cloud environments
Desired qualifications:
- Knowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering, processes, tools, and languages
- Knowledge of Software Development Frameworks
- INCOSE Associate System Engineering Professional (ASEP) certification
- Experience in geospatial intelligence
- Membership in professional organizations such as ACSM, ASCE, ASPRS, OGC, SAREM, or USGIF
