Senior Platform Engineer

Allwyn Lottery Solutions, a subsidiary of Allwyn Entertainment Group, is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join their Technical Operations team. This role focuses on building self-service tools and high-performance platforms that scale, supporting all customers and products. The ideal candidate will lead complex projects, mentor less experienced engineers, and automate processes to streamline deployment, monitoring, and management of on-premise and cloud-based gaming infrastructure.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading complex projects and managing the entire lifecycle of systems
• Mentoring and guiding less experienced engineers
• Automating processes and developing tooling for infrastructure management
• Collaborating with development and operations teams
• Facilitating DevOps practices adoption
• Monitoring and optimizing platform performance
• Ensuring platform security and compliance
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues
• Documenting platform architecture and procedures
• Participating in the on-call rota

The ideal candidate should have:

• Proficiency in programming languages (preferably Golang and Python)
• Expert knowledge of Linux operating systems
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals
• Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (Ansible, Terraform)
• 6-10 years of relevant experience
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
