Responsibilities For Staff Systems Engineer, Connected Features

  • Collaborate with software engineering team, product managers, and UI/UX Engineers to drive connected features development
  • Develop and distill feature requirements to subsystem requirements
  • Lead feature development execution and integration
  • Aid in developing diagnostics framework
  • Integrate connectivity solutions with cloud services and IoT platforms
  • Develop and execute end-to-end testing of connected features

Requirements For Staff Systems Engineer, Connected Features

  • BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years of professional experience in systems engineering or embedded software development
  • Experience with wireless networks including BLE, UWB, WIFI, and NFC
  • Understanding of Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS)
  • Experience with infotainment systems
  • Knowledge of security protocols and best practices
  • Experience with requirements management tools (JAMA, Polarion)
  • Working knowledge of automotive communication protocols
