Responsibilities For Field Application Engineer
- Perform technical discovery engagements and product demonstrations
- Create and deliver technical content for sales & marketing campaigns
- Understand client technical and business challenges
- Help Sales Team drive the sales process
- Expand sales pipeline within targeted accounts
- Participate in strategic planning for sales opportunities
- Drive adoption of Altium's product portfolio
- Expand technical knowledge proactively
- Maintain knowledge of competitor products and features
Requirements For Field Application Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or engineering field
- Fluent in English (B2+/C1) and either German (B2+/C1) or French (B2+/C1)
- Proficient with Altium Designer or similar tools
- Experience in technical content creation and demonstrations
- Excellent group and interpersonal communication skills
- Solid understanding of PCB Design, Data Management, and Cloud Solutions
- Experience with PCB Simulation & Analysis (desired)
- Ability to match business needs with technical solutions
- Ability to perform mid-level Application Engineering
- Ability to work proactively without direct supervision
- Willingness to travel with short notice
