Description For DevOps Engineer

Altruistiq is at the forefront of sustainability technology, building a comprehensive operating system to help the world's largest consumer companies manage and improve their environmental impact. As a DevOps Engineer, you'll join a globally distributed team working on mission-critical infrastructure that makes a real difference in fighting climate change.

The role combines technical expertise with environmental impact, offering a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge AWS infrastructure while contributing to sustainability goals. Key technical aspects include managing AWS services, implementing CI/CD pipelines, working with containerization, and handling event-driven architectures. You'll use technologies like Python, TypeScript, Docker, and Terraform, while managing PostgreSQL databases and OpenSearch clusters.

The position offers significant autonomy with a "you build it, you own it" philosophy, allowing you to make meaningful architectural decisions. You'll be joining a diverse, remote-first team spread across multiple countries, working in an engineering culture that values quick iteration, clean code, and high-quality development.

This role is perfect for a DevOps engineer who combines strong technical skills with a passion for sustainability. You'll need 3+ years of experience, strong AWS knowledge, and the ability to work in EU timezones.
