Amagi, a global leader in cloud-based broadcast and connected TV solutions, is seeking an Implementation Engineer to join their team in Bengaluru. As an Implementation Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of deploying and implementing cloud-based solutions for clients. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge broadcast technology while collaborating with cross-functional teams including Sales, Engineering, and Customer Success.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Linux systems and cloud technologies, particularly AWS and GCP. You'll be responsible for setting up cloud infrastructure, configuring products, and ensuring smooth implementations while maintaining high customer satisfaction. This role combines technical expertise with client interaction, making it perfect for someone who enjoys both technical challenges and customer-facing responsibilities.

Responsibilities For Implementation Engineer

  • Set up Amagi Cloud Infrastructure for new channels on AWS, GCP, or physical hardware
  • Install and configure Amagi products according to project requirements
  • Work closely with Onboarding project managers and external stakeholders
  • Troubleshoot issues and proactively find solutions
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of Amagi products
  • Participate in customer calls to understand specific requirements
  • Automate regular tasks and write one-time use scripts
  • Test thoroughly before marking any task as complete
  • Participate in daily standups and provide routine progress reports
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering systems that meet agreed specifications

Requirements For Implementation Engineer

Linux
Python
Kubernetes
  • B.Tech or MCA in Computer Science, IT, ECE, or EEE
  • Strong understanding of Linux operating systems and commands
  • Experience with Linux, Shell Scripting, Python, Docker, and Kubernetes
  • AWS and/or GCP knowledge preferred
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic knowledge of OTT (HLS, MPEG-DASH, CDN) is a plus
  • Beginner or Advanced AWS or GCP certification (preferred)
