Description For Sales Systems Engineer

Amagi Media Labs is a leading media technology company revolutionizing cloud broadcast and targeted advertising solutions. As a Sales Systems Engineer, you'll be a crucial technical advisor to media and entertainment customers, helping solve their challenges using Amagi's products and services. The role combines deep technical expertise in broadcast and streaming video workflows with customer-facing responsibilities. You'll lead technical pre-sales processes, prepare demos, POCs, and technical documentation while working closely with product teams and subject matter experts. The position requires strong knowledge of cloud technologies, particularly AWS, and broadcast engineering workflows. You'll manage multiple customer engagements, create technical collateral, and represent Amagi at industry events. Responsibilities For Sales Systems Engineer

  • Interface between customer and product team leading product discussions and feature requests
  • Build and maintain product demos and technical presentations
  • Support sales team in account planning and technical ownership of leads
  • Prepare technical statement of work (SOW)
  • Manage pre-sales engagement across multiple customer opportunities
  • Build and deliver curated demos/POCs based on customer requirements
  • Represent Amagi at trade shows and technical forums
  • Create technical collateral, blog posts, and training materials

Requirements For Sales Systems Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of relevant experience
  • 10+ years of experience in media & entertainment technologies
  • 5+ years of experience in pre-sales engineering or solutions architecture
  • Professional certifications in AWS cloud technologies and media services (desirable)
  • In-depth knowledge of broadcast engineering workflows, streaming media technologies, and ad monetization
  • Working knowledge of AWS cloud services, Linux, automation tools, scripting languages, and containerized services
  • Experience with Playout is a plus
