Senior Implementation Engineer - VOD

Amagi, a global leader in cloud-managed services for streaming and broadcast TV, is seeking a Senior Implementation Engineer for VOD. This role involves configuring encoders, CDNs, and SSAI systems, coordinating with project managers and stakeholders, debugging issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of stream deliveries to OTT platforms, AWS media services, and server-side ad insertion technologies. The position requires working from Amagi Headquarters in Bengaluru, with night shifts to accommodate US and European customers.

Key responsibilities include:

• Configuring encoders, CDNs, and SSAI systems
• AWS networking and security group configuration
• Coordinating with internal and external teams
• Debugging and finding solutions proactively
• Participating in customer calls and daily standups
• Ensuring thorough testing and defect-free deliveries

Required skills:

• Knowledge of stream delivery technologies (HLS, DASH, SRT, Zixi)
• Experience with AWS media services
• Familiarity with various CDNs
• Understanding of SSAI and VAST ad querying
• Knowledge of EPG and video codecs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Education: B.Tech or MCA Degree in Computer Science / IT / ECE / EEE
