Responsibilities For Principal DevOps Engineer
- Be responsible for the implementation, tuning, and ongoing administration of data layers and infrastructure
- Manage availability, performance monitoring, and capacity planning for data and application layers
- Improve services in terms of deployment and operation
- Support services before they go live through activities such as system design consulting, developing software platforms and frameworks, capacity planning, and launch reviews
- Maintain services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health
Requirements For Principal DevOps Engineer
- Experienced in the fields of Computer Science or Software Engineering
- Experienced with cloud-native architecture and technologies
- Experienced with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Experienced with API gateways
- Has strong ability to debug, optimize code, and automate routine tasks
- Has systematic problem-solving approach
- Possess an effective communication skills
- Expertise in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems
- Strong knowledge of RDBMS systems and NoSQL databases
