AWS Infrastructure Services (AIS) owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure customers have continual access to innovation. The Data Center Engineering Operations (DCEO) Team maintains the physical critical facility infrastructure of AWS 24x7.
As an intern, you will:
The internship is full-time (40 hours/week) for 12 consecutive weeks, typically with day schedules, Monday-Friday. Candidates must provide an internship agreement from their university.
You'll work with equipment supporting mission-critical servers, maintaining better than 99.999% uptime. This includes stand-by diesel generators, switchgear, UPS's, PDU's, AHU's, chillers, cooling towers, chemical treatment systems, pumps, motors, VFD's, and building automation systems.
