Acoustical Design Engineer, DC Engineering

AWS Infrastructure Services is at the heart of Amazon's cloud operations, responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. This role is for an Acoustical Design Engineer (ADE) who will join our mechanical design team to execute acoustical studies and drive innovation in data center design.

The position involves overseeing and performing sound surveys, acoustical modeling, and mitigation design. You'll work with a best-in-class team of engineers to produce construction documents, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and ensure contractors meet our exacting standards.

Key responsibilities include:

You'll be part of the Data Center Design Engineering team, working alongside Architects, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Fire Protection, and Controls Engineers. The team is committed to achieving world-class uptime while emphasizing security, safety, and efficiency.

Compensation ranges from $105,100 to $185,000 per year based on location, plus comprehensive benefits including medical, financial, and potential equity compensation. This position requires US citizenship and offers the chance to shape the future of cloud infrastructure.
