The AI/ML Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) team is at the forefront of delivering artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions to customers in isolated, air-gapped cloud environments. As an ADC Engineer II, you'll be working with Amazon's largest government customers to implement and support AWS AI/ML services in secure environments.
The role combines systems administration, cloud engineering, and AI/ML expertise. You'll be responsible for building and maintaining AI/ML services in air-gapped environments, requiring deep Linux knowledge and strong networking fundamentals. This position requires an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph and involves working with the U.S. Intelligence Community and Defense agencies. Responsibilities For ADC Engineer II, AI/ML ADC
- Support service builds and operations in ADC partitions and regions
- Solve difficult technical problems related to AI/ML service implementations
- Create and maintain documentation, wikis, runbooks, and processes
- Diagnose, root-cause, and resolve difficult ADC-specific issues
- Follow ADC policies for information handling, access controls, and compliance
- Communicate with customers and partner teams
- Contribute to technical project definition and scoping
- Participate in mentoring other ADC Engineers
Requirements For ADC Engineer II, AI/ML ADC
- 3+ years of systems administration experience (Linux/Windows)
- Experience working with scripting languages
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field (in lieu of work experience)
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph
