The AI/ML Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) team is seeking an experienced Engineer II to join their innovative team focused on delivering artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions in isolated, air-gapped cloud environments. This role combines cloud engineering expertise with AI/ML service delivery, working specifically with government and defense agencies.

The position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of cloud computing and AI/ML technologies, supporting critical infrastructure for US government customers. You'll be responsible for building and maintaining secure, isolated cloud environments while ensuring the seamless operation of AI/ML services.

Responsibilities For ADC Engineer II, AI/ML ADC

  • Support service builds and operations in ADC partitions and regions
  • Solve difficult technical problems related to AI/ML service builds
  • Create documentation, wikis, runbooks, and processes related to ADC operations
  • Diagnose, root-cause, and resolve difficult ADC-specific issues
  • Follow ADC policies for information handling, access controls, and compliance
  • Participate in mentoring efforts for other ADC Engineers
  • Work on automation, development, and operations to support AWS AI/ML services

Requirements For ADC Engineer II, AI/ML ADC

Linux
Python
  • 3+ years of systems administration experience (Linux/Windows)
  • Experience working with scripting languages
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
  • Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field (in lieu of experience)
