The AI/ML Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) team is leading the charge in delivering artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions within isolated, air-gapped cloud environments. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of cloud computing and AI/ML technologies, specifically focused on supporting government and defense agencies.

As an ADC Engineer II, you'll be instrumental in expanding AI/ML services across air-gapped cloud regions and driving automation investments. The position requires deep expertise in Linux systems administration and networking fundamentals, with a focus on solving complex technical challenges in secure environments. You'll work with Amazon's most demanding government customers, requiring a TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.

Responsibilities For ADC Engineer II, AI/ML ADC

  • Support service builds and operations in ADC partitions and regions
  • Solve difficult technical problems related to AI/ML service builds
  • Create documentation, wikis, runbooks, and processes
  • Diagnose and resolve ADC-specific issues
  • Participate in mentoring efforts for other ADC Engineers
  • Work on automation, development, and operations to support AWS AI/ML services
  • Collaborate with AI/ML teammates in an agile environment
  • Support U.S. Intelligence Community and Defense agencies

Requirements For ADC Engineer II, AI/ML ADC

  • 3+ years of systems administration experience (Linux/Windows)
  • Experience working with scripting languages
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
  • Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field (in lieu of work experience)
