We're seeking a talented Manufacturing Engineer to join our Technical Operations team, reporting to the Manager of Advanced Manufacturing. This role is crucial for new product introduction (NPI) and scalability of various products from design to production. You'll work with a diverse team of engineers from around the world, designing, testing, and building dynamic robots and mechatronic systems.
The position involves working cross-functionally with Hardware Engineering, Global Commodity Managers, Supplier Quality Engineers, and Technical Program Managers. You'll be responsible for developing suppliers, managing product lifecycle changes, guiding quality improvement projects, and driving technical root cause analysis in supplier quality activities.
Our co-located offices, labs, test floors, and factories enable rapid innovation and immediate implementation of ideas. We're currently advancing in autonomous movement, artificial intelligence, machine learning, manipulation, simulation, and robotic management software. The Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Team consists of talented individuals with diverse educational and practical experiences, focused on providing value to stakeholders and evaluating cutting-edge manufacturing technologies.
The role requires up to 35% travel, both domestic and international, offering opportunities to work directly with manufacturers and evaluate prototypes during production.
